Our Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of bus charter services ("Services") by Budget Bus Charters Melbourne Pty Ltd ("We", "Us", or "Our"). By booking or using our Services, you ("Client", "You", or "Your") agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking and Reservation

​

Booking Process: All bookings must be made through our website, or email. A reservation is considered confirmed only when a deposit payment is received.

​

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The amount will vary depending on the booking details.

​

Payment: Full payment is due on the due date as stated on the invoice. If full payment is not received by this time, the reservation may be cancelled, and the deposit forfeited.

​

Cancellation by Client: Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the date of service will result in a 20% cancellation fee of the total amount paid. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service date will incur a 50% cancellation fee and cancellation less than 24 hours before the service date or a no show will not receive a refund.

3. Pricing

Prices for bus charter services are provided at the time of booking and are subject to change based on route, duration, vehicle type, and other factors.

4. Changes to Itinerary

​

Any changes to the original itinerary must be requested at least 7 days in advance. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but they may incur additional charges and are subject to vehicle availability.

5. Client Responsibilities

​

Conduct: The client is responsible for ensuring that all passengers comply with all local laws and regulations during the charter, including those related to alcohol, smoking, and behavior.

​

Passenger Count: The number of passengers may not exceed the capacity of the bus. We reserve the right to refuse service if the number of passengers exceeds the agreed-upon number.

​

Damage: The client is responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive dirt, broken windows, and vandalism.

​

Safety: All passengers must remain seated while the bus is in motion, wear seatbelts if available, and follow all instructions from the driver.

6. Our Responsibilities

Service Quality: We are committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable vehicle for the duration of your charter.

​

Driver Conduct: Our drivers are trained professionals and will operate the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner. They reserve the right to refuse to drive if the vehicle is unsafe or passengers are behaving inappropriately.

Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by external factors, including but not limited to traffic, weather, road closures, or mechanical issues. However, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate any expected delays.

7. Liability

​

Limitation of Liability: Budget Bus Charters Melbourne Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost time, personal injury, or loss of property, except as required by law.

Force Majeure: We are not responsible for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or governmental actions.

8. Insurance

Budget Bus Charters Melbourne Pty Ltd maintains commercial vehicle insurance for the buses in our fleet. This covers the vehicle and the driver, but it does not cover personal injury or property damage to passengers. We recommend that all passengers have their own travel insurance.

9. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information provided during the booking process will be used only for the purposes of fulfilling your reservation.

10. Intellectual Property

​

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Budget Bus Charters Melbourne Pty Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any of the content without our express permission.

11. Governing Law

​

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Melbourne, Victoria.

12. Severability

​

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Changes to Terms

​

Budget Bus Charters Melbourne Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
